On Sat., November 2nd, Hermann Farm will once again host an exciting Fundraiser in support of Best USA Sommelier Association (BUSA).
Attendees can anticipate a memorable night enjoying food and wine curated by a group of hospitality experts including Doug Frost, Master Sommelier and Master of Wine, Patricia Wamoff, Advanced Sommelier, Chef Bernie Lee of Akar Clayton and Chef Michael Fricker of New Society of St. Louis. A collection of exclusive wines, spirits and experiences are featured in the live and silent auctions.
This benefit has allowed Best USA Sommelier Associations, entirely volunteer based-group of Master Sommeliers, wine competition judges, writers and critics, to educate and mentor younger sommeliers throughout the U.S., preparing them for national and international sommelier competitions. Mark Guillaudeu, Master Sommelier, who competed on behalf of the U.S. in the last world competition in 2024, advancing into the semi finals. He was able to defend his title of U.S. Champion early this year at the U.S. National Competition and will represent the U.S. at the 2026 World Championship. In the process of preparing for sommelier competitions, Mark successfully passed the Master Sommelier exam, he is the Beverage Director at Eleven Madison Park in New York City.
This partnership aligns with Hermann Farm’s mission to celebrate and preserve the region’s rich history of winemaking and spirits production. Through supporting sommeliers, Hermann Farm continues its legacy of honoring the traditions of the past while fostering the future of wine culture.
