St. Charles Block Party

This free event offers interactive art projects for all ages, a print market, food trucks, beer booths, live music, heavy machinery, and steamroller printing.

The Foundry’s Block Party features a unique printmaking method using a steamroller. Regional artists carve large woodblocks, which are inked by St. Louis print house Grafik House, covered with canvas, and pressed by a steamroller to transfer the ink. These prints are then displayed in the Foundry’s Grand Hall to dry.
