Quilting for All Levels at the City Sewing Room, St. Louis /// 2nd and 4th Wednesdays

Learn quilting techniques and tips from Nancy Dlugosz, a member of the St. Louis Modern Quilt Guild. This two-hour event is held on the second and fourth Wednesdays of every month and costs $30 per class. Bring your own fabric or use fabric provided by the City Sewing Room.

First Day Hikes at Missouri State Parks /// Jan. 1

Kids Media Mix-Up Classes at Albrecht-Kemper Museum of Art, St. Joseph /// Tuesdays

For just $12 per session, these weekly art classes held every Tuesday in January and February offer kids the chance to make fun projects ranging from paintings to sculptures. Class sizes are limited to eight participants for distancing.

La Luna Splende Painting Class at Pinot’s Palette, Blue Springs /// Jan. 15

Silverstein at The Truman, Kansas City /// Feb. 11

During their twentieth-anniversary tour, Silverstein is making a stop in Kansas City. The five-person Canadian rock band first formed in February 2000 and has since sold more than one million albums worldwide.
