06decAll Day0719th Annual Christmas Tour of Homes of Table Rock Lake

Event Details

What:  Explore four picturesque homes around Table Rock Lake during the 19th Annual Christmas Tour of Homes presented by Neighbors and Friends of Table Rock Lake.  The tour will take place Friday, December 6 and Saturday, December 7 from 10 a.m. to 4p.m.  A  $15 advance ticket purchase gives visitors the opportunity to peek inside four of Table Rock Lake’s unique private residences – all dressed up for the holidays. Tickets are available September 1 through December 5th either from a Neighbors and Friends member or,  Branson: Rhodes Price Chopper, Kimberling City:  Harter House:  Kimberling Area Library Note: Tickets will also be available for $20 on the days of
the tour.

The ticket purchase opens the door to the fun of exploring some of the most interesting homes nestled in our area. Just to give you a little peak into the homes on tour this year, here is a brief summary of what you will see.

The first home in Kimberling City.  This 4400 square foot log cabin sits on four wooded acres and has a tremendous view of where the White and James rivers merge.   A large bunking room was added to accommodate all the grandkids, the basement has been completely remodeled, and a circle drive completed.  You will enjoy the grandness, comfort and lake views from this unique lake home.

Also in Kimberling City is the second home. The 4750 square foot house was built in 2017 and
completed in Jan 2018.  There are 4 bedrooms and 4.5 bathrooms.  Solid wood
beams throughout the house inside and out and two gas fireplaces.  Custom built cabinets and granite.  The mudroom bench was custom made and is special because it includes a piece of pecky cypress wood that came from their
grandparent’s farm.  The basement area is made for entertaining.  There are 3 tv’s on the wall, a pool table, poker table and a golf simulator.  The outside space includes a large covered deck, one side has a screen enclosure along with a gas fireplace.

The third home, in the Branson West area:  Welcome to this square foot “Hook’s Pointe” located at Point 5 1/4 on beautiful Table Rock Lake. The Timber framed home was inspired by Johnny Morris’ Big Cedar Lodge and Dogwood Canyon. Circle sawn hardwood floors, panoramic windows encased in Stone, Barn wood furniture and hand-made quilts provide Rustic Elegance.

The forth home is in the Lampe area.  This lake home was built in the Bread Tray Mountain area approximately 1977, setting on 3 acres overlooking Table Rock Lake.  Over the years, the property has been updated by adding a 64×42 metal building, remodeled a separate 2 car garage into a 1 bedroom guest house, added a multi-tier water feature in the middle of the circle drive and are currently upgrading the original house.

Special Features of the tour: At the Kimberling Area Library, visitors have access to an expansive Galleria and Marketplace, featuring local crafts, jewelry, baked goods and drawings as well as purchasing your “Home Tour Tickets” Hours are from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. While there, visitors can enjoy complimentary, coffee and cookies.  In addition, a lunch is available for purchase for $10 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Why: Proceeds from the Christmas Tour of Homes and Galleria will be distributed to various Stone and Taney County charities. In 2019 Neighbors and Friends of Table Rock Lake raised more than $71,000 through their annual fundraiser such as the Twilight Live and Silent Auction, a concert series and the Christmas Tour of Homes. These proceeds were awarded to 22 Stone and Taney County 501C3 organizations this past March. Throughout the years, Neighbors and Friends of Table Rock Lake have raised more than $500,000 for local charities.
