Stop by the nature center and talk to naturalist Dan Slais about geology. A large rock and mineral display will be out for viewing from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. At 1 p.m., there will be a formal presentation on how rocks differ from minerals, the three types of rocks, characteristics of specific rocks and much more.
