Carol Shelton, storyteller, author, and retired educator, will provide a presentation entitled, “Portraits of
Black Women in Missouri.” Ms Shelton tells stories from around the world with a hint of music from the heart. As a part of her repertoire she has researched and crafted historical first-person portrayals of African American women. Her presentation will be at Hannibal Free Public Library on Tuesday, March 3rd. Refreshments will be served at 6:00 p.m., followed by Ms Shelton’s presentation at 6:30 p.m. Missouri Humanities Council is a partner for this co-hosted programming.
