There is no license or daily tag fee for veterans on this day. Veterans can pick up their “free fishing tags” at the park store or near the special hospitality tent all day during the event. Volunteer assistance and equipment will be available near the special event tent. Veterans may fish anywhere in the park; however, a special designated fishing area will be provided in Zone 2.

Project Healing Waters – St. Louis VAMC Program will be present to assist veterans. Casting, fly tying demonstrations, a MAD Fly Challenge and other activities are planned.
