Set in the early 20th century, the play is based on the true story of an American astronomer by the name of Henrietta Leavitt as she makes world-altering calculations and discoveries at the Harvard Observatory. These discoveries would lead other astronomers, such as Edwin Hubble, to find galaxies beyond the Milky Way.
