The Strollway Market, 114 S. 9th Street,

You may have noticed that the downtown location of Harold’s Doughnuts has been closed for about a month and a half and no one knew why, until recently. Harold’s Doughnuts and Beet Box have teamed up to create The Strollway Market. This brand new breakfast and lunch spot will offer fresh locally sourced sandwiches, soups, and salads. The eatery isn’t open yet, but follow their Instagram for updates and to see dishes that will be offered like the Chicken and Rice Soup and the Italian Wedding Soup.

Camacho Coffee, 4009 Frontgate Drive, Suite 101,

In late 2020, Camacho Coffee opened its first location on the southside of Columbia. Before there was a permanent location, Camacho Coffee, established in 2017, sold their air-roasted coffee wholesale to stores and local restaurants around Columbia like B&B Bagel Company. Now they have a full espresso bar, pastries, and are open 7 AM–1 PM Tuesdays–Saturdays. The coffee is sustainably and ethically sourced, and the owners, Jesse and Megan Walters, are committed to giving back: 10 percent of the proceeds of every bag of coffee sold is donated to charitable and nonprofit organizations.
