Explore the Gateway Outdoor Expo in St. Charles

Whether you’re a kayaker, runner, camper, or simply outdoor-curious, the Gateway Outdoor Expo on November 15-16 at the St. Charles Convention has something for everyone. From hands-on demos and gear displays to youth activities and expert talks, it’s a full day of fun. No experience required.

Brought to you in partnership with Terrain Magazine.

Ready to go? Here’s how to make the most of your outing:

9:00 a.m. – Start your morning at the south end of the convention center parking lot for a group run (Saturday) or bike ride (Sunday). Afterward, refuel with pastries, fruit, and coffee in the hospitality room just outside the main exhibit hall.

10:00 a.m. – Pick up your event directory as the show doors open. Flip to the exhibitor index and map your route through 150 booths featuring regional outdoor brands and organizations.

10:30 a.m. – Head to the Mountain Bike Zone to test your skills on obstacles and get tips from certified instructors. Whether you’re a new or seasoned rider, it’s a can’t-miss stop for some high-energy thrills.
