There is no planet b! Join the St. Louis Earth Day Festival from 11 AM to 5 PM on April 26 and 27 at Muny Grounds in Forest Park, St. Louis to celebrate the wonderful world we have. This is a free event have 200 local vendors offering activities, educational resources, and sustainable products.
“The St. Louis Earth Day Festival helps to galvanize a movement to focus on solutions and connect with others who are doing the hard but necessary work of sustaining our planet in a time of crisis,” says Jess Watson, executive director of earthday365 (organizer of the event). “We mix the serious and celebratory. Where else can you eat fufu, pick up a free tree, pet an alpaca, watch a zero-waste fashion show, and listen to great local bands, all at the same event?”
In addition to vendors, the event will have a Sustainable Fashion Show on April 27. It will have music, performances, and interactive activities. Besides entertainment, it will also have Green Dining Alliance certified restaurants and breweries as well as the new All Vegan Zone, BWorks’ kids balance bike course, Perennial’s Repair Demo Fair, Upper Limits’ climbing wall, and rejuvenating yoga sessions with The Collective STL. There will also be a online silent auction aimed at supporting next year’s event.
This year’s theme Climate Hope: The Change We Want, which asks people to envision the changes they want to shape a collective future and celebrate climate action wins.
