Local Columbia boutique, Plume, is hosting their Spring Fling Open House March 6–8, 2025. The Spring Fling Open House will include new items from vendors including St. Patrick’s Day decorations, Easter gifts, spring apparel, and jewelry. “Many of our local makers have restocked and brought new items in. We have a new loose tea that is locally blended and will be sampled by the maker, Steep & Bloom on Saturday morning, as well as new dips & cheeseball mixes and other goodies that we’ll be sampling all three days,” says Kelly Gilion, owner and designer at Plume.
This is a ticketed event, meaning that pre-registration is required. “We sell tickets purely to prevent overcrowding and to gauge how many Free Goodie Bags we need to have on hand. We give each guest their ticket cost back at the door as a coupon to spend in the shop. So essentially the tickets are free, but charging a small fee ($10) ensures guests will use their tickets,” Kelly says.
Ticketed time slots are 60 minutes, beginning every hour. Guests can plan to enter through Plume’s Gathering Room entrance anytime during their 60 minute time slot. The purchase of a $10 ticket will include:
- A time slot for 60 minutes of shopping in a fun, safe environment
- A $10 Plume Shopping Coupon (your full ticket price applied back to any purchase made during the Open House)
- Beverages & Samples
- A Goodie Bag that includes a Plume Bake Shoppe Cupcake & GOPO Gourmet Popcorn
- An entry into Plume’s Grand Prize Giveaway
