Big Cedar Lodge Adds Luxury Camping Options

If you long to get close to nature but want more than a sleeping bag between you and raccoons, coyotes, and bears (oh my!), Big Cedar Lodge’s new accommodations on Table Rock Lake may be the answer. Camp Long Creek at Big Cedar sits on the lakeshore, next to Bass Pro Shops Long Creek Marina, and features 64 units that include shepherd’s huts, luxury “glamping” tents, and couples’ and family cottages. The campground is set to open in May. Bass Pro Shops and Big Cedar Lodge founder Johnny Morris envisions Camp Long Creek as a place where “countless families will create lifelong memories.” The decor is rustic, but the accommodations are completely modern. Amenities include an outdoor pool, beach access, boat rental, and a s’mores kit for every guest. Camp Long Creek at Big Cedar is now accepting reservations.
