On February 1st, 2025, Moberly Parks and Recreation is hosting a “Boots and Beauties” Daddy Daughter Dance just in time for Valentine’s Day. Girls between the ages of 4–13 and their fathers, grandfathers, or brothers, etc. are welcome to attend the event. No females over the age of 13 are allowed at the dance. The event will run from 6–9 PM at the Municipal Auditorium.
“We host this event each year as it is a special time for fathers and their daughter(s) to share quality time together while they get all dressed up and have some fun dancing. The dance includes drinks and snacks, a live DJ, and photobooths! We also have a balloon drop that the girls just love!” says Jenna Pagliai, Recreation Supervisor with Moberly Parks & Recreation. “The dance truly brings such excitement to the little girls and makes it a special memory.”
Tickets to the Daddy Daughter Dance are $15, per person. A ticket must be purchased for both the father and the daughter, and must be bought in advance to arriving at the event.
Those attending the Daddy Daughter Dance can expect to enjoy various drinks, snacks, live music from a DJ, and a complimentary photo in the Redlight Photobooth. Snacks and drinks vary each year, but typically include punch, capri suns, candy, cookies, popcorn, cupcakes, and more. Girls will be given a gift at the event as well!
