Want a night of elegance and classiness the day before Valentine’s Day? Attend the FRS You Have My Heart Gala, an black-tie event aimed at supporting first responders.

The event will be located at the Northeast Event Center at the Boone County Fairgrounds in Columbia with doors opening at 5:30 PM, on February 13. The event is dedicated to honoring and supporting Boone County’s first responders. Guests will enjoy a gourmet dinner, live entertainment, inspiring stories, a silent auction, and opportunities to contribute to the mission of providing life-changing resources for first responders and their families.
The event is hosted by First Responder Support, a nonprofit dedicated to supporting the mental health, wellness, and overall well-being of Boone County’s first responders.
This gala serves as the FRS’s primary fundraiser to ensure first responders have access to critical resources such as mental health support, wellness programs, and assistance for their families. It’s also an opportunity to recognize their sacrifices and express gratitude for their service to our community

This will be the 3rd annual You Have My Heart Gala, and it will have an estimated 400 guests.
“In previous years, the event has been a moving and memorable experience, filled with heartfelt testimonials, lively auctions, and a strong sense of community support,” says Rick Rowden, executive director of FRS. “Guests have been deeply touched by the personal stories of first responders who have benefited from our services, making it an evening of impact and celebration.”
This year we have added another level of sponsorship called “Seat Our Heroes.” This is a way by which first responders, and a plus one, are able to attend the event at no charge. We have received 100 seats for our Boone County heroes, thanks to the generosity of our community.
