The Foundry Art Centre is igniting the winter with its inaugural Fire Arts Fest, with partners at Third Degree Glass and Lindenwood University Art & Design Department.
This indoor/outdoor extravaganza celebrates the raw power and beauty of fire as an artistic medium. From molten glass to fiery ceramics, scorching metal to molten wax, witness firsthand the transformative magic of heat.
As the sun dips below the horizon, the Fire Arts Fest will transform the Foundry into a mesmerizing realm of light, heat, and artistic expression. Immerse yourself in a world where fire takes center stage, illuminating the extraordinary talents of our featured artists.
Outdoors, experience fire performers, metalsmithing demonstrations, raku and pit firing demonstrations, glass works, and more. Enjoy the outdoor s’mores stations over an open flame.
Indoors, enjoy the ‘BAKE’ Sale vendor market of artists who work in heat and/or fire, art activities, music, and the Foundry Bar. Applications to be a vendor at the BAKE Sale are open through December 27th.
