Get the Scoop on Route 66

Route 66 is turning 100, and Clementine’s Ice Cream is celebrating by launching new flavors to honor the iconic road.

The ice cream company, which started in St. Louis, set out on a mission to blend flavor with Route 66 nostalgia. In- spired by diner fare, soda fountains, and late-night snacks, Clementine’s hopes to invite visitors to step back in time and experience Route 66 through ice cream.

The Dr. Dirty Soda ice cream combines sweet cream, the classic spices of the dark soda, and a fizzy aftertaste. Pretzel Cookie Dough is a malted ice cream mixed with pieces of salty pretzel and soft cookie dough bites. Milkshake Fries has a silky chocolate base and chocolate-covered potato chips. The lineup ends with a bang: the Cherry Slush sorbet is a smooth, sweet cool treat with a crisp, refreshing finish.

A glass sundae dish with two scoops of light brown ice cream sits in front of a bottle of Dr. Pepper and a tall glass filled with dark soda on a table with a retro diner background.
