Amp-lify the fun by attending the annual OxFest Music Festival in Washington, Missouri from 11:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. on September 20, 2025.
This festival hosts rock and blues bands, with this year’s bands being Shooting Star, Pink Houses USA, Klose Kuarters, The Mighty Pines, and The FREEZEOUT Band. The event will have a free Kids’ Zone with an obstacle course, face painting, bounce house, and more. There will also be food and vendors.

The “OxFest” started after Dave Haddox and Kevin Walde started an annual barbecue in honor of Dave’s brothers Doug and Duane Haddox after they had past. At the end of the barbecue, David and Kevin would sit around a fire and dream about “OxFest.” Then in 2017, they made it in a full festival. This year, about 1,500 to 2,000 people are expected to attend.

The event will have “great music, drinks, and food and mixing with their friends and relatives,” says Kevin Walde, president of OxFest Charities, Inc.
Through the event, OxFest Charities has awarded more than $322,000 to nonprofits that serve children and youth. OxFest Charities help support All Abilities Athletics, CASA of Mideast Missouri, Whole Kids Outreach, The Covering House, and more.
General admissions for the event is $33.85.
