On February 22, 2014, over 10,000 people in and around Springfield turned out for a candlelight vigil and marched to honor 10-year-old Hailey Owens, who had been murdered earlier in the week. The next day over 1000 motorcycles held a rally/parade in support of Hailey’s family.
