Joe Wilson’s Serenity Point
Located in the North Jefferson City Recreation Area, this river access point offers a picturesque view of the Missouri River, the city’s iconic bridge, and the skyline-dominating Missouri State Capitol. So, take a seat and swing while watching the river gently flow along the tree-lined banks.

Bicentennial Bridge to Deborah Cooper Park on Adrian’s Island
Wander down the 12-foot-wide pedestrian/bicycle bridge connecting the Missouri State Capitol Complex to the premiere 32-acre riverfront parkland. The Bicentennial Bridge spans the railroad and slopes gently down to Deborah Cooper Park on Adrian’s Island, which encompasses several amenities including nature trails, public art, hammocks, and the Missouri Bicentennial Chessboard. Whether watching the sun rise over the Missouri River, the sun set behind the Capitol dome, or trains coming and going, you’re surrounded by the best views in town.

Frog Hollow Nature Trail
More advanced riders will enjoy the 3.1 miles of Frog Hollow Nature Trail. With several segments to choose from, you can craft a different ride every time. Don your helmet, clip into those pedals, and roll on out!

Musical Line-up at the Capital Region Amphitheater
The amphitheater has some fun shows taking the stage this summer, including Pam Tillis and Lorrie Morgan (5/29), Dylan Scott (6/13), ARRIVAL from Sweden (6/27) and many more. Whether you purchase a seat ticket or general admission, you’re guaranteed a fun time at this intimate concert venue.

Scoops at Ice Cream Factory
Few things are better than a sweet treat outdoors, wouldn’t you agree? Transformed from an old gas station into a charming ice cream hangout in the heart of JCMO, Ice Cream Factory offers a variety of rich options for you to choose from. Get a scoop or three of your favorite premium flavor (we recommend gooey butter cake) and snag a table outside.
