Come, Sip, Shop in Warrensburg

Warrensburg Main Street and Warrensburg Chamber of Commerce are hosting the first annual beer, wine, and spirit stroll, Come, Sip, Shop, on May 1, 2021. Visitors can enjoy an afternoon of sipping on regional wines and tasting local beers and spirits at ten downtown retail stores. The Come, Sip, Shop event will feature a variety of alcoholic beverages for tastings that highlight the flavor of the region while visitors shop locally.


The drinks will start pouring in downtown locations at noon. Sippers will recognize a few well known breweries that will be on hand like Boulevard Brewing Company out of Kansas City and St. Louis’s Schlafly. If you’re a wine connoisseur, Big Oak Vineyards & Winery and Primitive Olde Crow & Winery both from Clinton, Dale Hollow Winery from Stover, and Terra Beau Winery from Stover will bring vintages for strollers to try. And if spirits are your style, Phantom V Distilling Company, founded by five Warrensburg friends, will be sharing some of their award-winning spirits.

The event will begin in the Jack Moore Community Room located in the Chamber of Commerce and Amtrak station building at 100 S. Holden St. Check in for this event begins at 11:30 AM and ends at 1:30 PM. During check in, participants will receive a map of the stroll and a glass for tasting. The first one hundred registered participants will receive a free T-shirt as well. This is a 21-and-older event, and ID’s will be checked at check in.Tickets for Come, Sip, Shop are twenty dollars prior to the event, and tickets the day of may be limited.
