Tour de Jeff City Moonlight Bike Ride – August 14, 2022

Have you ever taken a bike ride around the city at night? What about at two o’clock in the morning? The Tour de Jeff City is a free 15-mile non-competitive bike ride for all ages. The route is carefully chosen to avoid most major hills. You surely haven’t seen Jefferson City like this before!

Thursday Night Live: The Kay Brothers – August 18, 2022

Winner of Jefferson City’s Best Community Event, Thursday Night Live (ThNL) is a summer concert series designed for ages 21+ downtown on High Street. Just $5 will give you access to hours of entertainment from local bands, a variety of cuisine and tempting drink specials from the community’s restaurants and bars.

Prison Break Run and Catch Me If You Can – August 27, 2022

Test your athletic skills as you face hurdles to make your breakout of the historic Missouri State Penitentiary. Runners will set out on a 3+ mile trail and face a myriad of obstacles as they conquer the course. If the kiddos want to join the fun, sign them up for the adventure-filled Catch Me If You Can!

Backyard Concert Series: Downstream – August 27, 2022

Jefferson Landing State Historic Site is excited to host another season of live music on the Lohman Lawn. These are family friendly, BYOC (bring your own chair) events, so bring your blankets, lawn chairs and picnic suppers for a summer of music that captures Missouri’s music traditions past and present. Downstream is an acoustic trio playing a blend of Americana, folk, blues and original music.
