There’s plenty to do right here in town! Take the kids to try out the archery ranges of the J.B. & Johnelle Hunt Family Ozark Highlands Nature Center, then head over to The Jones Center to skate on the region’s only indoor ice rink and enjoy the thrills at Runway Bike Park – the nation’s largest pump track. For the older and more adventurous, hop on mountain bikes and scream down the Best Trail Ever at Fitzgerald Mountain!

For those who prefer to spectate rather than participate, Springdale has professional sporting events too! You can catch a baseball game with the NWA Naturals, the AA affiliates of the Kansas City Royals, at the Arvest ballpark and enjoy the Friday night fireworks. Don’t forget to check the calendar for Parsons Stadium too! Parsons Stadium hosts the Rodeo of the Ozarks every June – one of the nation’s top outdoor rodeos, and features demolition derbies, monster truck rallies, carnivals, and more all throughout the year.

Don’t forget to make time for our scenic downtown too! You’ll find plenty to do with dozens of murals to discover, boutique shops to explore, and excellent restaurants to enjoy. Then stroll over to the Shiloh Museum of Ozark History to learn all about the fascinating history of the region. Afterwards, you can step back in time on an excursion train ride through the Boston Mountains with the A&M Railroad or get an aerial view of the Ozarks on a helicopter tour with FlyARH.

When you’re ready to relax, you can sample locally crafted beer at Core Brewing, wine from Sassafras Springs Vineyard & Winery and cider from Black Apple – the only craft cidery in Arkansas! Start your weekend early on a Thursday and bring your brews with you to our live concert series in Turnbow Park – located within our Outdoor Dining District.

You can spend a whole weekend in Springdale without leaving, but we’re also the best home base for any excursions in Northwest Arkansas. Springdale straddles I-49, just 10 minutes away from concerts at the Walmart AMP, 20 minutes from the renowned Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art and 15 minutes away from the University of Arkansas campus and athletic venues.
