An 1880s Victorian home, Grand Victorian Manor is on the Historic Register of Historic Places. The home has been lovingly restored and recently renovated. Each of the five suites have private baths, and all boast beautiful linens, wallpapers, and furnishings that give it a Victorian-era feel. One suite in particular has a familial twist, the Bertha Vollrath suite. Bertha’s parents built the Grand Victorian Manor. Bertha died a spinster at the age of eighty-three in the home, and she’s believed to still pay a visit to the guests of the suite.
The common areas of the Manor provide a sense of elegance and are appointed with English and French antiques. In the gardens, guests can relax and enjoy a glass of wine in the meticulously landscaped gardens, dotted with fountains, lilac trees, and butterfly bushes.
Le Cottage is a French-inspired home that has been restored and filled with French antiques and modern luxuries. The cottage has large, well-appointed suites, Belgian linens, and French charm. The back yard is perfect for a small event or cocktails in the evening around the fire pit.
