This spring, Battlefield Lavender Farm is offering wreath-making classes at their farm in Centralia. The lavender used to make the wreaths is harvested from Battlefield’s own crops—making for a true farm-to-table experience.
Crafters will receive a 6-inch grapevine wreath along with all necessary tools, supplies, and hundreds of embellishments including florals, greenery, ribbon, and more. Classes are led by an instructor to help you navigate the creation of your lavender wreath.

“The idea for offering crafting classes came from a friend who was very supportive when we first started our business,” says Katie Lockwood, co-owner of Battlefield Lavender. “She was excited to help me explore ideas for classes we might offer.” Since then, the farm has introduced classes like wreath-making, floral arranging, painting classes, and others.
“Lavender is such an amazing plant. Calming and beautiful, it has so many uses. When you create something with lavender, that creation is imbued with both the energy of the lavender and the wonderful person who made it!” Katie says. “We provide all the supplies and good vibes for our participants, and they’ll go home with a fun memento and maybe even make a new friend or two when they’re here!”

Wreath-making classes will be running throughout the month of March, 11 AM and 1 PM Sunday, March 23, and 11 AM and 1 PM Sunday, March 30.
