Reynolds County Saddle Club to Host Its First‑Ever PRCA Rodeo in Ellington on June 19 and 20

Ellington, Missouri is preparing for a historic milestone as the Reynolds County Saddle Club brings a PRCA‑sanctioned rodeo to the community for the first time on June 19th and 20th, 2026. This major event elevates local rodeo tradition to the national stage, offering two nights of elite competition, high‑energy entertainment, and the unmistakable excitement of professional rodeo.

Brought to you in partnership with the Reynolds County Saddle Club, Ellington Chamber of Commerce, and the Taum Sauk Fund.

A Historic Step Forward

For decades, the Reynolds County Saddle Club has been a gathering place for riders, families, and rodeo fans. Hosting a PRCA rodeo marks a new era for the club and the region. Spectators will experience the full lineup of PRCA events featuring top competitors from across the country. This year’s rodeo will host breakaway roping, saddle bronc riding, bareback riding, bull riding, steer wrestling, team roping, tie-down roping, and barrel racing.

A Destination Surrounded by
Natural Beauty

Ellington sits in the heart of the Missouri Ozarks, surrounded by some of the state’s most breathtaking landscapes and outdoor attractions. Visitors traveling in for the rodeo will find no shortage of adventure, scenery, and small‑town charm.

● The Black River, another local favorite for camping, swimming, boating, and summer fun.

● Johnson’s Shut‑Ins and Elephant Rocks State Parks, offering unforgettable

geological formations and outdoor exploration just a short drive away.

● Miles of hiking, horseback riding, and ATV trails

● Local shops, restaurants, and warm small‑town hospitality
