Rated SGF Film Festival, Springfield
Each year, five to twelve exclusive films are shown to ticket holders in the Queen City. The ones chosen for the festival are deemed “Rated SGF” or “Rated Springfield.” The annual celebration of art, films, and local talent was founded in 2018 and will be held on March 27–28 at the Historic Fox Theatre in downtown Springfield. In addition to the showings, local musicians perform original songs that are inspired by the film, and lead actors and directors also make an appearance. After the credits roll, an exclusive after party is held at Hotel Vandivort where there will be live music, local food and drinks, and the filmmakers themselves. Learn more at RatedSGF.com.
