Mickey Carroll dies at the age of 89. Although you may not remember the name, you will certainly remember the character he played. Mickey was raised in St. Louis, but in his own words, he never really grew up. He stood a little over three feet tall when he was cast to appear as the Munchkin town crier in The Wizard of Oz.
