Magician Harry Houdini introduced his famous “Milk Can Escape” while performing at the Columbia Theatre in St. Louis.
Trivia: This stunt involved handcuffing the magician and putting him in a large milk can with the top padlocked on. Later he went to the St. Louis City Hall and escaped from a straitjacket while hanging suspended from the fifth floor.
