Missouri History Today October 11, 1910: Theodore Roosevelt Soars Skies At Berkeley Aviation Meet

President Theodore Roosevelt takes his first plane right at the International Aviation Meet in Berkeley on this date, according to a history from the City of Berkeley. He described the experience with pilot Arch Hoxsey as “bully.”
