OrigamiintheGarden, Now until October 10
The Missouri Botanical Garden is hosting OrigamiintheGarden, an outdoor sculpture exhibition that features large metal sculptures in origami shapes. There are more than eighteen pieces to view that were created by Jennifer and Kevin Box, artists from Santa Fe. The exhibition is included with daytime admission and you can also buy a ticket for Origami After Hours. From now until August 27, the gardens will be open from 6 to 9 PM every Thursday and Friday. Admission to Origami After Hours is $14 or $7 for members.

Amy Gamlin recently opened a brand new dessert spot in Webster Groves. Amy’s Cake Pop Shop and Boozy Bites offers traditional cake pops and hot chocolate bombs in multiple flavors, boozy treats, such as the Lemon Vodka Boozy Bite, and cake cups, which are eight-ounce jars filled with cake and toppings. You can also order custom-made cake pops and create exactly what you’d like.

This Chicago staple is crossing the border and opening its first location in the Show-Me State on June 9. It will be located at 1916 Union Boulevard in St. Louis. The chain restaurant was first opened by Harold Pierce in 1950 in Chicago and has since expanded to more than six states. The chicken wings and mild sauce are a couple of the most popular items on the menu.
