The Raging Bull Steakhouse is a family-owned-and-operated establishment that specializes in high-quality, prepared-in-house foods. It’s a dream built from the ground up by Todd Dale and his son Adrian and watched over by business partner Clif Castleman, who also owns Taxman Accounting.

The idea for the steakhouse was inspired by Adrian’s passion for food and his quest to attend culinary school. His enthusiasm pushed the other two to jump into the business. The trio strive to provide healthy dishes that you’d usually only find in a big city, but now you can find that culinary experience in a relaxed atmosphere on the north side of Warrensburg, Missouri. The steakhouse is conveniently located in the middle of a hotel and shopping district in Warrensburg, a place that has retained its small-town feel but is steadily growing larger every year.

The Raging Bull combines ingredients in unexpected and delicious ways, and that adds up to a great selection of unique dishes. The tempting menu includes regional dishes and daily specials. The Raging Bull team is particularly proud of the well-curated selection of whiskeys, bourbon, tequila, and wine, served every day from the bar. Todd and Adrian are focused on this area of the restaurant, traveling to take specialized classes in liquor production, learning how to properly introduce different spirits into their dishes, and perfecting the proper pairings to enhance the meals they serve.

Steaks are the signature dish at The Raging Bull, naturally, and the restaurant dry ages most of their steaks in-house. The meat served is born, raised, and finished in Missouri; this is important and allows the restaurant to maintain its high standards. This focus on quality gives The Raging Bull an edge over most corporate places where cheap cost supersedes quality. This steakhouse is not your traditional, old-fashioned stockyard establishment and has successfully ventured into new culinary territories. This shows in the variety of awards that it has won in the three years it has been open, including Best Burgers, Best Tacos, and, of course, Best Steaks from local and state competitions, while also earning nods for Best Value. Visiting Raging Bull on a Friday or Saturday evening, especially for the dry-aged, slow-smoked prime rib, has become a popular tradition among the restaurant’s regulars. Just don’t wait too late in the evening to place your order, because once they run out of the day’s quantity of that succulent prime rib, they are out!

When you visit, you’ll often see the owners mingling with their customers, collecting suggestions, and providing assistance wherever needed. The decor’s repurposed barn wood, and the warm, smiling staff speak to an old-fashioned sensibility at The Raging Bull, but modern conveniences have a place there, too, with up-to-date charging stations at all the tables, free Wi-Fi, and engaging, consistently updated social media. That balance of tradition and technology makes The Raging Bull an ideal meeting place for all generations.
