Plan now to go to the Missouri History Museum on Thursday, December 29th for a night of Hip-Hop. Happy Hour starts at 5:30, and the main stage comes to life at 6:30 featuring St. Louis’s own DJ G.Wiz, (The God Pops of Hip Hop himself) who will share the story of how he created the video mixtape in 1995 that caught the attention of major music labels. He will entertain in his usual musical edutainment style. After his presentation, a live musical performance by LOOPRAT follows. The early days of hip-hop inspired their fusion of musical sounds. After that, DJs, drinks, and dance performances of classic B-boy dance moves will take place in the Grand Hall.
Light appetizers and drinks are available to buy until 9:30, and the regular Museum’s exhibits are open for exploring until 10 pm.
