Wine

Les Bourgeois Vineyards – Rocheport

Sample award-winning wines at the Les Bourgeois Tasting Room and Gift Shop and take in the panoramic views nearby at The Bistro at LBV and A-Frame Wine Garden. Perched on a bluff top overlooking the Missouri River, the setting is a beautiful spot to watch the sunset and the water roll by. Montelle Winery – Augusta Missouri River Valley views will take your breath away, and Montelle Winery’s three-tier deck is a perfect place to enjoy the scenery – and the wine. On a clear day you can see for 75 miles. The view is outstanding when the trees are green but is beyond compare when bathed in fall color. Chaumette Vineyards & Winery – Ste. Genevieve Discover a wine country experience in the rolling hills of the Mississippi River Valley at Chaumette Vineyards & Winery. Follow a wine tasting with a Cajun-inspired meal at Grapevine Grill. Then spend the night in one of their villas.

Beer

Boulevard Brewing Company – Kansas City Make a stop at one of the largest specialty beer companies in Kansas City. Boulevard Brewing Company has a 10,000-square-foot Beer Hall, offering 24 beers on tap. They also have an expansive deck with great city views. Logboat Brewing Co. – Columbia Named for the meaning of Missouri – “people of the dugout canoes” – Logboat Brewing Co. offers a core group of beers as well as a rotating selection throughout the year. Logboat Park is the brewery’s playground for families and friends to gather for a game of bocce ball, cornhole or Frisbee. Mother’s Brewing Company – Springfield

The craft beer is “brewed with love” at Mother’s Brewing Co. in Springfield, located in a renovated bread factory on old Route 66. Stop by the tasting room and check out the shady backyard where you’ll find lawn games, live music and special events.

Distilleries

StilL 630 – St. Louis Sample handcrafted spirits in the shadow of the Gateway Arch. Named for the 630-foot height and width of the St. Louis icon, StilL 630 creates a variety of spirits including whiskey, gin and rum. Rieger & Co. – Kansas City

Founded in 1887, the J. Rieger distillery met its demise in 1919 with the onset of Prohibition. Ninety-five years later, J. Rieger’s great-great-great grandson and a partner set out to revive the brand. Today, the distillery makes whiskey, gin, vodka and a coffee liqueur. The 60,000-square-foot distillery includes a lounge, restaurant and exhibit area. Pickney Bend Distillery – New Haven Three long-time beer-brewing buddies had a dream of opening a brewery – until then they decided to try their hand at distilling.
