Creative and Classic Cheese & Wine Pairings

Visit seven wineries and sample creative wine and cheese pairings at each winery. Visit an Old World holiday market and tour historic buildings decked out for Christmas and Weihnachtsfest, a traditional German Christmas too.

Say “Cheese, please,” on the Say Cheese Wine Trail, held at and around Hermann, Mo., on Saturday, December 10. The Wine Trail is held annually on the second Saturday of December, and it coincides with a popular Kristkindl Markt, an Old-World holiday market at Hermann, which also takes place during Weihnactsfest, which is both December 10 and 11. • Adam Puchta Winery Deconstructed Cheesecake made with Hemme Brothers German Quark Cheese and Gioffre Apiary Honey, paired with Adams Choice
• Bias Winery Slow Roasted Roma Tomatoes with Goat Cheese on Crostini, paired with Mulled Wine
• Curling Vine Winery Koch Käse on Rye Bread, paired with Vignoles
• Dierberg Star Lane Tasting Room Cheesy Bacon Spaetzle, paired with Three Saints Pinot Noir
• G. Husmann Wine Company Spinach and Goat Cheese Tartlets, paired with Amalia Manwaring
• Hermannhof Winery Crostini with Blue Cheese and Sweet Onion Jam, paired with Port
• Röbller Vineyards A Selection of Cool Cow Cheeses, paired with 2021 Reserve Vignoles

You must buy $35 tickets in advance, and you can buy them here. The ticket includes a souvenir wine glass, and the event takes place regardless of weather, so no refunds can be made.
