Farm to Table

There are drive-thrus you hit when you’re in a hurry. Then there are drive-thrus that are destinations in their own right. With its emphasis on farm-to-table cooking and from-scratch baked goods, Crestwood’s Yolklore falls into the latter category.

At the Keeter Center at College of the Ozarks, students get a complete education in farm-to-fork food preparation. They grow the produce and raise the animals that provide meat for the menu items, and everything is made from scratch.

Wayne Vanderwert took up cooking for a simple reason. "I like to eat," he says.
