Marceline’s high school football team set a record by winning a low-scoring game against Brookfield. The final score was 2-0.
TRIVIA: This was actually a good win when seen in perspective. In 1913, Marceline’s football team lost to Carrollton by a score of 148-0. To be fair, the 1913 contest was Marceline’s first game and the boys on the team had never seen an actual football.
