For more than 50 years, Alex’s Pizza Palace has been serving Rolla locals as well as Missouri S&T students. Founded in 1964 by Alex Kallas and his wife, Froso, Alex’s Pizza Palace is known for handmade pizza dough and fresh sauces.
Nearly twenty years after it first opened, Ellie and Lazos Makridis bought the business and kept the tradition alive as they expanded the restaurant. Now with seating for more than three hundred, Alex’s Pizza Palace churns out fresh pizza dough every morning and offers catering and delivery. If you’re really hungry, check out the toasted ravioli or cheese balls appetizers. For the main course, choose from gyros, calzones, gourmet pizzas, and Greek specialties such as spanakopita.
