Inauguration Held For Governor Samuel A. Baker: January 12, 1925
Gov. Samuel A. Baker is inaugurated to lead Missouri. During the Patterson native’s tenure, the state approved banking reforms and funded road improvements, among other activities, according to a National Governors Association history. He retired from politics at the end of his term four years later.
