A man named “Jennings” held for train robbery is announced as the culprit in several additional train robberies under different aliases, according to a Library of Congress archive. Noted the paper: “He is a cursing, malevolent wretch and so desperate that he seemingly cares not what becomes of him, nor how short his shrift is.”
