On the “Dialogue with Litton” TV program, US Rep. Jerry Litton of Missouri hosted US Senator Hubert Humphrey. During the broadcast, Humphrey commended Litton for his ongoing monthly program to build civic engagement. “I’ve always felt that education is not telling people what to think but getting people to think,” he explained.
