Dozens of tornadoes occur across a wide swath of land from Oklahoma up to Wisconsin. Missouri notches the unfortunate record of having the most reported tornadoes during this outbreak – 33 in all, most of them concentrated in the Ozarks, according to the National Weather Service. The event began on the afternoon of January 7 and continued into the early hours of January 8. This picture shows damage in Wisconsin from the same tornado system.
