The newly built Clay County Public Health Center opens for operations on Highway 152 in Liberty. The location offered expanded space from its original site, which rented space from The First National Bank. The health center moved locations again in 2007 with a much larger modern facility to serve the county’s 240,000 residents in the northeast corner of the Kansas City metro area. This photo shows the Kansas City business district around 1915.
