ROADTRIP WORTHY Pulaski County provides winding roads, scenic vistas, patriotism, and rich history, defining the classic American Ride. This featured route meanders lazily through camera-worthy land-scape, crosses three rivers, and includes stops at favorite watering-holes with unique eats, and fun sites along the way.

Pulaski County is the home of Fort Leonard Wood, the military’s largest basic training installation. Nearby St. Robert is the starting point for the American Heroes Tour. View sites such as the St. Robert Military Tribute & Freedom Rock, Black USO Chimney Memorial, Missouri State Veterans Cemetery, and other veterans memorials located throughout the county. A visit to area American Legions and VFW Posts to visit with our proud Veterans will add special memories to your experience.

Travel Historic Route 66 east to Devils Elbow, a spectacular stop on the Big Piney River and home to the world-famous Elbow Inn. Explore the railroad towns of Dixon, where murals decorate the town, and Crocker, home of the Frisco Depot Museum. In Waynesville, walk the historic downtown and visit the Cherokee Encampment along the Roubidoux River. Loop through Richland and Laquey as you cross the Gasconade River a few times.
