The Office debuts on NBC with Missouri-tied actors among the cast. Jenna Fischer, who was born in Indiana but graduated from Nerinx Hall (Webster Groves) and Truman State University, played Pam Beesly, while Phyllis Smith, a graduate of Cleveland Hig (St. Louis), played Phyllis Vance. Ellie Kemper of John Burroughs (St. Louis) also worked on the show’s production team.
