Ellen Dolan and her husband, Gary, along with a team of dedicated volunteers and a talented team of craftsmen set out to restore the crumbling Thompson House. The house, located at the rear of Crowder State Park at Trenton, was nothing but an empty, roofless shell when work began. Today, it’s a hidden gem that’s worth the journey to marvel at the work that went into its preservation.
