Backyard Concert Series: John Williams and Robert Mackey – July 22, 2023
Want a lowkey concert instead? Bring your own chair or blanket to sit on the lawn of the Jefferson Landing State Historic Site. Listen to John Williams and Robert Mackey bring traditional Missouri fiddle and guitar to the Lohman stage.
Tour de Jeff City Moonlight Bike Ride – July 30, 2023
Have you ever taken a bike ride around the city at night? What about at two o’clock in the morning? The Tour de Jeff City is a free 15-mile non-competitive bike ride for all ages. The route is carefully chosen to avoid most major hills. You surely haven’t seen Jefferson City like this before!

Cole County Fair – August 1-5, 2023
In addition to all the fair food you can eat and all the rides you can handle, the Cole County Fair has a great lineup of entertainers including Murphy’s Ford, Creed Fisher, Shane Profitt, Ashley Cooke, Quiet Riot and Michael Ray.

Prison Break & Catch Me If You Can – August 26, 2023
Test your athletic skills as you face hurdles to make your breakout of the historic Missouri State Penitentiary. Runners will set out on a 3+ mile trail and face a myriad of obstacles as they conquer the course. If the kiddos want to join the fun, sign them up for the adventure-filled Catch Me If You Can!
