Nic Parks recently opened Cantina Margarita & Tequila Bar next door to another one of his businesses, Silverball. Cantina features more than fifty flavors of margaritas and an array of tequila to choose from. The building formerly housed Fuzzy’s Taco Shop, but now features a sleek and earthy design inside with leather couches and greenery. Its opened Friday and Saturday nights at 10 PM and is available to rent out.

The spaces where Ingredient and Pickleman’s once were on Ninth Street in downtown Columbia have remained empty since their closure, but now, a new restaurant is set to open in those spaces this summer. Located about thirty minutes from Columbia, Last Flight Brewing Company opened in March in the heart of Jefferson City. The brewery is open every day, except for Monday and offers a variety of beer on tap, outdoor seating, and events, such as trivia night throughout the week.
